We can’t explain the science, but Hopsmith has serious match-making energy—and not just after 2AM. We’re teaming up with Meet IRL for a speed dating night that’s actually fun (because staring at your phone hoping someone replies isn’t).

About Meet IRL Speed Dating Events
Our curated dating events aim to facilitate introductions with potential. If you’re looking to meet someone great in person, our curated speed dating events create space for compatible connections in a fun, low-pressure setting.
This specific event is for our community of folks ages 30-39 that are interested in male/female dating. Check out our other upcoming events if this one isn’t for you!
How it works:
- Purchase your ticket based on your age and gender—you’ll tell us who you’re hoping to meet later.
- After checkout, check your confirmation email for a link to set up your profile in our Meet IRL app.
- In the app, you’ll answer a few quick questions to help us match you with the most compatible people in the room!
What to expect:
- We’re a small, woman-owned business and we care deeply about creating high-quality, welcoming events. We’ll be there throughout the night to facilitate, answer questions, and make sure you have a great experience.
- Arrive between 6:15–6:30pm to check in, grab a drink, and mingle.
- Speed dating rounds start promptly at 7pm (please arrive no later than 6:45pm).
- Using our app, you’ll rotate through about 6–10 one-on-one “mini dates” at different tables. Think of each round as a vibe check—short, intentional conversations with optional prompts to keep things flowing.
- You’ll indicate your interest after each round directly in the app, and you can also make private notes if needed.
- We’ll wrap up the structured rounds around 8:30pm, but we encourage you to stick around, grab a drink, and continue your conversations at the bar!
- After the event, you’ll be connected with mutual matches so you can continue to build on the initial spark!
Access Notes:
- The second floor at Hopsmith is accessed via a flight of stairs, with no elevator access.
- Masks are available upon request.
- This event involves frequent moving between tables and standing for periods of time; if this is difficult for any reason, just let us know ahead of the event and we’ll make a plan.
- For any other accessibility needs, please reach out before the event—we’ll do our best to accommodate.

This late night bar doesn’t close… until 4AM and 5AM on Saturdays.
Horrible news, it’s last call and the bar you’re at is closing. Great news: we’re open for at least another 2 hours if your party bus is off the rails and can’t stop/won’t stop the party.
If you’re lucky, you’re already at Hopsmith where our late night DJs are already warming up the floor for another legendary late night.
Bottle Service: it’s not for everyone, but it’ll treat you real nice in the Skylight Lounge.
These are the nights legends are made of: dancing on the bar, throwing piles of bar napkins into the air from the VIP Skylight Lounge, shots of something minty that you just watched your best friend drink no questions asked.. Someone even cornered the DJ to play [your song] when no one else would.

The One Night Food Stand
Hungry? Hopsmith’s got late night bites from our “One Night Food Stand,” from 11PM – 3AM every Friday and Saturday. We’ve got local chips, grilled cheese, tots, and fries. You can even take that cute girl/boy/person you met to the 1st floor for an instant date… and nothing’s sexier than eating grilled cheese at 2AM.
